Ross Cloran graduated from S,G.W.U. (Sir George Williams University) in 1971 with a B. Comm. Degree, majoring in Finance and Economics, He began his insurance career with London Life in 1973 and was immediately successful having qualified for their Elite Honor Club Membership in all of the 19 years that he was there. Ross then went to NALACO (North American Life) and became a broker with Manulife when the latter acquired NALACO. He obtained his CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) Degree in 1978; CFP (Chartered Financial Planner) in 1985; and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) in 1987.
He is a 42 year Life and Qualifying Member of the MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table). The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) is the premier life insurance and financial services sales organization in the world, consisting of nearly 19,000 members in over 40 countries. It represents the top six percent of the sales representatives in the world. Within this organization there are two additional levels of achievement: The Court Of The Table at three times the basic entry requirement and The Top Of The Table at six times (representing the top one thousand in the world). Ross has been a member of this prestigious organization for 42 consecutive years and has achieved Court Of The Table status eleven times and Top Of The Table three times in the last eight years.
He is a 5 Star Master Builder with Manulife and a 9 time recipient of the National Quality Award and has served on many field advisory and product committees. The Master Builder program is Manulife’s most prestigious advisor reward and recognition program worldwide. Advisors who achieve Master Builder status are the epitome of excellence. Manulife currently deals with over 47,000 advisors worldwide. 334 of these advisors have achieved Master Builder status and within their ranks 133 advisors have achieved the ultimate Manulife recognition of 5 Star Master Builder. Ross is one of them.
Grant Cloran graduated from HEC Montreal in 2007 obtaining his B.Com specializing in Finance. During his studies, he founded a home theater installation company that was the sole service provider in Quebec for one of Canada’s largest electronics retailer. Afterwards, he joined his father, Ross Cloran, and co-founded Cloran Financial Planning Group. He is now a member of Manulife’s Independent Advisory Channel where he has attained up to the level of their President’s Club and was also invited to speak at Manulife’s Elite Insurance conference in Florida. Grant has also qualified for many events with top insurance companies across Canada in the past years. He was runner-up, in the life insurance & in the wealth management categories, for the Vic Savino Development Award in 2013 at Manulife Financial; designed to recognize the achievements of advisors new to the business.
